Tenera Care Appoints Joel D'Eon as Vice-President,       Growth and Customer Success

Tenera Care, a provider of advanced location-based monitoring solutions for senior living communities, today announced the appointment of Joel D'Eon as Vice-President, Growth and Customer Success. D'Eon brings a record of building digital health ventures and a deep understanding of the aging care landscape to Tenera Care’s ambitious North American growth strategy.

D'Eon, a Nova Scotia native, was the founder and CEO of San Diego-based Partner in Aging, an AI-powered platform that helps families support aging loved ones at home. The platform's Virtual Expert guides families through the practical and emotional complexities of aging in place. Prior to Partner in Aging, D'Eon co-founded TOVI Health, a digital well-being company whose employee health platform was adopted by organizations including Cubic, TRI-AD, and WD-40. He holds a Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University and an Executive MBA from San Diego State University's Fowler College of Business.

"Joel brings exactly the combination we were looking for with his entrepreneurial instinct, deep roots in digital health, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for older adults," said Stephen Fitzgerald, CEO of Tenera Care. "His experience building platforms at the intersection of technology and aging care makes him ideally positioned to accelerate our growth and deepen the relationships we have with our customers. We are glad to have him back in Nova Scotia, and back in a sector where his work can have real impact."

In his new role, D'Eon will lead Tenera Care's revenue growth strategy and oversee the full customer success function, from onboarding through long-term account development. He will work closely with senior living operators, healthcare administrators, and procurement teams as the company continues to deploy its location-based solution in long-term care and assisted living environments throughout the United States and Canada.

"Tenera Care is solving a problem that matters," said D'Eon. "Senior living operators are under real pressure from issues like staffing, safety, family expectations and growing regulatory demands. Tenera Care's technology directly addresses those challenges. I have spent years working on how families and care systems can better support aging adults, and Tenera sits right at the centre of that mission. I am excited to help the company grow and to make sure every customer gets the full value of what this platform can deliver."

Tenera Care uses precision location technology to monitor resident and staff safety location in real time, improving resident health and safety and generating data senior living organizations need to make better decisions about care and operations.
